The K-pop girl group aespa and Jennie of BLACKPINK are among the winners of this year's Billboard Women in Music Awards.
The U.S. music and entertainment magazine Billboard on Feb. 12 said aespa was named Group of the Year.
The quartet won the honor for expanding the scale of its world tour in time with the release of its regular album "Armageddon," Billboard added.
Jennie won the Global Force Award thanks to her explosive global influence since starting her solo career, the magazine said.
"Love Hangover," a song from her regular album "Ruby" slated for release on March 7, debuted at No. 96 on Billboard's main singles chart Hot 100 after its prerelease.
The annual awards honor the top female artists, creators and producers who have major influence over the global music industry.
Previous Korean winners include the K-pop girl groups NewJeans last year and TWICE in 2023.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for March 28 at YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
